Classic Lemon Bars
ACTIVE 20 MIN. - TOTAL 1 HOUR, 10 MIN., PLUS 1 HOUR, 30 MIN. CHILLING
MAKES 16
1 1∕2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
1 cup granulated sugar, divided
1∕2 cup butter, cubed and softened
1∕4 tsp. kosher salt
6 large eggs, at room temperature
1 cup fresh lemon juice (from 6 large lemons)
1 Tbsp. grated lemon zest Powdered sugar
1. Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in center position. Coat an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray; line bottom and sides with parchment paper, leaving a 1-inch overhang.
