ASHLEE LLOYD CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER AT STUDIO LLOYD
Ashlee Lloyd is a three-dimensional product and lighting designer based in Cape Town. In 2016, she founded Studio Lloyd, which creates exclusive light sculptures and outdoor seating arrangements for the hospitality, commercial and private sector. Each creation is delicately handcrafted with sublime attention to detail.
As a creative, I believe I have a strong role to play in the future of design. We need to develop products that are not only beautiful and functional but made to last, with materials supplied by local businesses in your economy. As a creative I also want to show that it’s possible to design your own career path and your own life.
