Want to throw a party and not have to play bartender all night? Just mix up one of these fruit-forward, big-batch cocktails in advance.
AS SOMEONE WITH lofty ambitions in the hosting department, I need to remind myself to keep it simple (ish) when I have friends over. Remember: Parties are no fun when the host is stressed. So for drinks, I lean on big-batch cocktails, which I prep ahead of time. With one or two pitchers in the fridge, I can get a cold beverage into folks' hands (including my own) in 30 seconds flat, and I don't have to worry about being an on-call mixologist. I'll toast to that! These are some of my favorite recipes that bring the summer vibes with zero stress.
