Concepto Studio gives marble its moment in this white-toned Bengaluru home

For their 6,000 sq ft home in Bengaluru, homeowners Madhusudan and Nutan had a dual vision: to have a cosy, comfortable haven for their kids, and an elegant, well-lit home in shades of white that would leave their guests wowed.
“We loved the idea of an all-white home, but it couldn’t feel cold or sterile,” they explain. “It had to be peaceful and filled with light and warmth.” Known for their conscious, material-driven aesthetic, Esha and Edwin Stanley of Concepto Studio were the logical choice to bring this vision to life. They cast white Carrara marble - typically a background element - as the star of this show. A supporting cast of rattan, exposed brick, and blue upholstery was chosen to craft a tactile, layered aesthetic. The result is a luxurious space that responds to the city's tropical climate while offering a respite from its urban chaos.
