We first came across Mumbaibased French designer Ivan Oddos' work with the æquo' gallery. Washed with light, ensconced in a heritage building in Colaba in Mumbai, the space was a sensory delight. A minimalist space, it paid homage to the cultural context of the country in its use of materials and finishes. A theme that is a constant with Ivan's work, where you witness an almost meditative dialogue between the volume of the space and the textures, the materials bring along.
