Creativity meets mindful living in the hands of Anand Menon and Shobhan Kothari, the founding partners of ADND

Besides a shared passion for design, architects Anand Menon and Shobhan Kothari both hail from a family of doctors. “My sister helped to break the family mould when she became a fashion designer, she made it easier for me when I did not take to the same profession as our folks,” reminisces Shobhan. For Anand, it was the inclination towards art and sketching since school, that sparked his creative interests. Today, as co-founders and principal architects of Mumbai-based studio ADND (Atelier Design N Domain), founded in 2002, they lead an acclaimed practice focused on crafting experiential spaces with purposeful design.
