Amidst mango orchards, a Manduva Logili house evolves into a Bali-inspired farmhouse designed by 23DDS

Shekhar Reddy’s family once had a modest single-bedroom farmhouse tucked away in their 30-acre mango orchard in Mansanpally village, near Hyderabad. Originally built for agricultural purposes, the farmhouse slowly became a peaceful getaway – especially after the pandemic, when the family indulged and relaxed. As a real estate developer, Shekhar recognised the land’s potential and envisioned transforming the farmhouse into a welcoming home for his extended family. To execute this, Shekhar sought familiarity – he turned to the Hyderabad-based 23 Degrees Design Shift, led by architect partners Neelesh Kumar, Srikanth Reddy and Raghuram Srigiriraju, with whom he had worked before.
