Rasneet Anand, founder of her eponymous practice, has put together a exclusive 101 for the study

Creating a productive and inviting study room requires careful consideration of various elements that contribute to a conducive environment for learning and work from the importance of lighting and visual connectivity to ergonomic furniture, colour palettes, and essential additions.
LIGHTING
The right lighting can make or break the mood of a study room. Natural light is highly preferred, as it not only enhances the overall ambience but also promotes a positive and energising atmosphere. Consider locating the study room in an area that receives ample natural light. Glass partitions and open walls can be incorporated to allow more light to filter in from adjoining spaces. However, it's crucial to ensure that the study desk is not directly facing a window to prevent glare and distractions. Strike a balance by adding diffused lighting sources for work during darker hours or those moments of solitude with your favourite book.
