THE DECORATIVE FAIR

I usually go every time this fair is on. There are lots of opportunities to try different chairs out here, so I often take my clients along - especially the pickier ones! It's fifty-fifty whether I keep the fabric chosen by the antique dealer or reupholster the piece.

THE DINING CHAIR COMPANY 

The showroom is small but has something like 27 chairs, so there's something for everyone. You can choose your fabrics and finishes, even down to the colour of the legs and the type of trim. Plain chairs are never going to rock my boat, and this way of doing things is more flavourful-you really can be creative with dining chairs. As a rule, I always strongly recommend buying dining chairs in person.
