Designer Dee Coleman joins the Home Rescue team for the first time as she endeavours to help the families in this series to get their home, and in turn their lives, back on track.

The hugely popular RTÉ show Home Rescue: The Big Fix returns to our screens for a brand new series, with a brand new designer, Dee Coleman. Dee will team up with the immensely popular builder Peter Finn and the rest of the enthusiastic Home Rescue team.
'There are six disorderly homes and we only have five days to declutter, redesign and rescue the heart of family life in each one,' explains Dee, who makes her presenting debut on the show. 'Sometimes when you watch these programmes you wonder if they secretly have more time to get it all pulled together, but I soon discovered this wasn't the case!'
Following a career as a management consultant Dee followed her passion and re-trained as a designer. 'I never felt the joy in my previous career and I always loved design and architecture. Unable to allocate seven years to studying architecture in my thirties and with my husband's encouragement, I retrained at London's KLC, before working in a Notting Hill design studio. I then went on to set up my own practice in London prior to returning home to Ireland in 2015 when my twin girls were just one.
