'Like most kitchens, my under-counter space used to be taken up by ugly appliances. By fitting floor-to-ceiling cupboards to house the washer and dryer, and a nifty pull-out airer, everything is kept neatly tucked away. The undercounter space is now free to display my collection of cookbooks and wine.'
