IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT LOOKS - CONSIDER OUR EXPERTS' ADVICE WHEN PLANNING YOUR BATHROOM HEATING SET-UP

Choosing a bathroom radiator

When planning a bathroom redesign, so much emphasis is put on the fittings and décor that heating can often be overlooked.

imageBut if there's one room that needs good heating, it has to be the bathroom - the space in which, without getting too graphic, we get naked and drench ourselves in water. Picking the right type of heating for your bathroom isn't straightforward either. For starters, you have to decide whether you want a standard radiator or a heated towel rail. Then, the size of the room will inform the type of radiator you pick, as it needs to be able to heat the space efficiently. 'The choice often comes down to personal preference, practical needs and the available space. Towel rails are ideal if you want to warm or dry towels while also providing heat.'
