For Katie, an interior stylist, and Kelvin, whose company crafts architectural materials, their laundry was always destined to be much more than utilitarian.

The creative couple and parents of four live in a 19th century homestead in Melbourne, which lacked in convenience what it made up for in character, so enhancing both was part of the brief for interior designer Lynette Yannakakis.
