Harmonise your relationship with Vastu for a better bond. Vastu Architect Maanushri Agarwal, tells us more
Your bedroom is more than a place to sleep, it's where your relationship with your spouse thrives. As someone who's been married for 15 years, I know firsthand that relationships require constant work. Sometimes, small Vastu tweaks can bring more love, harmony and intimacy into your relationship, also building an environment that fosters better understanding and connection with your partner. Let's see how...
• Ensure your head is in the South or East while sleeping. This simple alignment with the Earth's magnetic field improves your physical and emotional health and promotes restful sleep, which is key to relationship harmony.
• Frame and place your wedding photographs or special moments together in the Southwest to promote care, companionship, and stability in your relationship.
• Keep photos of others, including parents or children, out of the bedroom. This space should be exclusively for you and your partner.
• Choose light, warm and soothing colours like cream, light yellow and off-white for the walls, furniture and curtains. These tones create a peaceful, calming atmosphere that promotes relaxation and emotional balance.
• Avoid placing the kitchen or toilet in the Southwest direction, and steer clear of using bold red shades in this area. These can cause instability in your relationship.
• The North of Northwest (NNW) is a zone for attraction and intimacy. To keep this energy balanced, avoid clutter in the zone and avoid using red, orange, or pink tones in this space. Instead, add a sculpture of a pair of white horses or lovebirds or pictures with your partner to symbolise passion, freedom and intimacy. This will enhance your romantic connection.
• Ensure the door is not directly in front of the bed for privacy and intimacy. Also, repair any broken or noisy doors, windows, or damp walls, as they can lead to arguments and fights.
