In the sleek, curated world of design, we always admire the finished product – the polished curve of a lamp, the seamless joinery of a chair, without ever seeing the hands that made them. Excelteam’s Calicut store designed by Kerala based Workers of Art is a dramatic exception and a tribute to the skilled artisans who bring it to life. The first thing you see is a facade of raw, offcut metal from the factory floor, with every scratch and marking intentionally preserved.
