1 Coastal Palette

Designers Arianna Pannoni and Kasey Bedford (winsomeinterior design.com) had one goal in mind when Kasey’s parents brought them on to shepherd the building of their new home: to make it feel as well-loved and lived-in as the one Kasey’s family had previously inhabited for 20 years. To accomplish that in the kitchen, the duo started with a color palette that looks equal parts sun-drenched and sea-sprayed. Floors painted ocean blue (pre-aged to give them extra patina) are grounding, and airy white walls unify the antiques-filled open-concept space.

2 Two-Tone Cabinetry

A layout of two-tone Shaker-style cabinetry, designed with Tanya Smith-Shiflett of Unique Kitchens & Baths (uniquekitchens andbaths.com), was a no-brainer. “They set the foundation for that timeless aesthetic,” says Arianna. Countertops of ogee-edged Calacatta Oro marble and matching extended backsplashes add an elevated touch.
