MICHIRU HIGGINBOTHAM

ADAM HIGGINBOTHAM AND MICHIRU COHEN

WE FIRST MET WHILE STUDYING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY.

Years later, after gaining experience, we each set out to launch our own studios. Early into that journey, we realised our design philosophies were closely aligned. A few phone calls and coffees later, we joined forces. We believed that together we could create work that is both meaningful and contemporary, with a particular passion for heritage.

OUR ETHOS CENTRES ON PEOPLE, PLACE, TIME AND DESIGN CONSISTENCY.

We design spaces that honour the individuals who bring them to life, the unique character of their location and the moment in which they're created.

WINNING THE RISING STAR AWARD HAS BROUGHT WONDERFUL MOMENTUM TO OUR STUDIO.

We're exploring projects from warehouse conversions to heritage renovations, while expanding beyond Sydney with a dream boutique hotel project combining architecture, interiors and storytelling.
