WHY DID YOUR CLIENT BUY THIS HOME? The early months of quarantine in spring 2020 prompted the family to reevaluate their living space and hunt for a larger property. They purchased a 1950s brick ranch just four blocks from their former home as they wanted to remain in their beloved Old Irving Park neighbourhood with their children, aged eight and 10. Although the property was too small and outdated to be workable for them, it had beautiful views of the Greensboro Country Club golf course and was the perfect location in which to build their dream home.

HOW DID YOU COME TO BE INVOLVED IN THIS PROJECT? Our client reached out to Kindred Interior Studios prior to the build as a referral from the contractor, Pat Parr of Classic Construction. Pat understood the significance of bringing in a designer early in the process as we are able to tweak layouts and add architectural detail.
