Red Heart Super Saver Brushed medium (worsted) weight yarn (5 oz/ 255 yds/142g per skein): 7 [8] skeins #5031 mink

Size J/10/6mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Size 1/9/5.5mm crochet hook

Tapestry needle

GAUGE

With larger hook: 10 dc = 4 inches; 6 rows=4 inches

Poncho is worked in 2 pieces and seamed over shoulders.

Join with a slip stitch unless otherwise stated.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Front cross stitch (X-st): Sk next 2 sts, dc in next st, ch 1, working in front of last de made, de in first sk st.

Puff stitch (puff st): [Yo and draw up a lp] 4 times, yo and draw through all 9 lps on hook, ch 1 to close puff (ch 1 does not count as a st).
