Why William's secret hobbies will make him a better king

The KING'S favourites

From football to motorbikes, Prince William is the most down-to-earth heir to the throne we've ever seen. Despite being a helicopter pilot, the Prince of Wales is keeping his feet firmly on the ground, going out of his way to connect with his future subjects through his genuine passions.

Having inherited the vast Duchy of Cornwall, his priorities are less profit and more social impact, say royal reporters. According to The Telegraph, he is using the Duchy as a branch of his philanthropy. 'He is, unmistakably, a man on a mission: to reform his Duchy so it is fit for 2025 and beyond; “a positive force for good” that will actively make people’s lives better,' the newspaper writes. The Duchy – which covers 128,494 acres across 19 counties in England and Wales, including Devon, Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and Kent – states its purpose is to deliver 'positive impact for people, places and planet'.
