Fungal Infections

Fungal infections are caused by various types of fungi and can affect different parts of the body, from the skin and nails to internal organs. While many fungal infections are mild and easily treatable, some can lead to severe health complications, especially in individuals with weakened immune systems.

● Symptoms

● Skin Infections:

● Athlete's Foot (Tinea Pedis): Itching, burning, and redness between the toes or on the soles of the feet.
● Ringworm (Tinea Corporis): Circular, itchy, red rash with a clear center.
● Jock Itch (Tinea Cruris): Itching and redness in the groin area, often with a ring-like appearance.

● Nail Infections (Onychomycosis):

● Discoloration of the nails (yellow, white, or brown).
● Thickening or crumbling of the nail.
● Discomfort or pain in the affected nail.

● Oral Candidiasis (Thrush):
● White patches on the tongue, inner cheeks, or roof of the mouth.
