Although Isabela Moner was the first to portray Dora in live action back in 2019, Samantha Lorraine now leads a new chapter with ‘Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado’, celebrating the franchise's 25th anniversary. And she does so with heartfelt connection—not just as a lead actress, but as a girl who grew up feeling represented.
“Watching Dora at home was probably the best decision my parents ever made for me as a kid,” she says. “The show helped shape who I am. I love learning, I'm curious, empathetic... a lot of that comes from her.”
