Since her appointment in 2016, Maria Grazia Chiuri has spent her time at Dior helping spotlight female artists from around the world. This resolve has seen the couture house foster a creative community that includes names such as Karishma Swali of the Chanakya School, American visual artist Mickalene Thomas and French artist Eva Jospin, among others. Known for her excruciatingly detailed mood boards that span everything from fabric samples to academic texts, for resort 2025, Chiuri found inspiration in textile expert Clare Hunter's book Embroidering Her Truth: Mary Queen of Scots and the Language of Power.
