Love Letters From Jes Jespipat
MEN'S FOLIO Malaysia
|February 2025
Much like the Grand Seiko that rests on his wrist as an emblem of timeless craftsmanship, Jes’ devotion to his craft is palpable beyond digital screens. To him, love comes in many forms that can manifest beyond being in each other's embrace.

On matters relating to love and its many constituents, we realise that it is not proximity or the amount of time we spend in each other’s embrace that determines who, or what falls within our purview of affection. In its various forms — of endearment, admiration, lust or even obsession —love in the present manifests in 4K quality wallpapers, subscribing to a new streaming service solely for one upcoming title to securing precious photocards in acrylic. In an era of content saturation, audiences are spoilt with options, possessing little incentive to stay tuned unless something truly remarkable comes along. For actor Jes Jespipat Tilapornputt, attributing his success to mere oneway affection from fans would be a disservice to his craft and those who appreciate artistry on their terms. Through his roles in wildly popular series like Dear My Secretary, The Lady and Her Lovers and 4Minutes, Jes’ devotion to his craft is palpable even through the 6-inch screens his fans watch him on. Dressed in codes of timelessness — specifically Grand Seiko — Jes Jespipat talks to Men’s Folio about all things love, heartbreak, and letting go in the name of love.
HEY JES, WHAT IS YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE?
Rather than limiting myself to just one way of showing and giving love, I’m passionate about making others happy and am open to all the ways I could make that happen. Being an actor, I consider myself lucky to be able to do something that makes others happy — my craft is where my love shines.

This time, though, Sims is answering our questions instead.
