The art of finding tiny joys

So much of life is about perspective, isn’t it? You wake up on the right side of the bed and you can easily forgive the impatient commuters and grumpy coffee guy. You wake up on the wrong side of the bed and the whole world is out to get you.

Noticing glimmers — tiny, three-second moments that lift your spirits, small slices of joy — works to shift your perspective, just slightly. And turning this noticing into an art and a daily practice helps to reorientate your perspective enough so that life becomes just a little bit easier, a little bit smoother, slightly more joyful.
