|September 28, 2024
Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) are finally out and proud as boyfriends as Netflix's LGBTQ+ drama Heartstopper returns for a third season - but as they take a fun trip to the beach with their friends, both boys have things on their minds.
Charlie wants to tell Nick that he loves him, while Nick is worried that Charlie has an eating disorder...
'Charlie definitely has the most difficult journey this season of all the characters,' says Joe. 'The struggles with his mental health and his eating disorder are quite a tough thing for anyone to go through, so we tried to make sure we went about them with respect and did it the right way.'
