Scarily reminiscent of ITV1's award-winning drama Mr Bates Vs the Post Office, this four-part Netflix series dramatizes one of the UK's biggest environmental scandals, which saw many babies born with devastating limb deformities.
It starts in the 90s in Corby, as the council is redeveloping former steelworks. Jodie Whittaker plays Susan McIntyre, whose baby son, Connor, is born with a deformed hand. However, as Connor undergoes a series of agonizing operations, Susan realizes that his isn't an isolated case...
