Vicky McClure wanted to unravel the truth about two emotional stories from her family's past as she looked into her ancestry for the first episode of a new run of Who Do You Think You Are? The actor was keen to discover why her beloved late paternal grandmother, who she called Nonna Jean, was given up by her birth family as a baby and taken in by foster parents who mistreated her.
