Sister Julienne looks to the future and faces a blast from the past as Call the Midwife returns...

Spring 1969 is marked by new arrivals and emotional shocks as the latest series of Call the Midwife begins.
As the locals prepare for an Easter pram parade, head nun Sister Julienne (Jenny Agutter) and the team welcome a group of pupil midwives to Poplar as part of a training scheme and two of them, Rosalind (Natalie Quarry) and Joyce (Renee Bailey), move into Nonnatus House.
