A veteran TV presenter faces a potentially catastrophic end to his career in ITV1’s comedy drama Douglas Is Cancelled.

The four-part series centres on well- respected, popular Douglas Bellowes (Hugh Bonneville), who co-hosts nightly news show Live at 6 with ambitious Madeline Crow (Karen Gillan).

‘I don’t think Douglas relishes being a national treasure but he would say he’s a successful and generous-hearted leader of a team,’ reveals Hugh. ‘He’s comfortable and feels nothing can go wrong.’
