Anita Rani was delighted to visit rock superstar Sir Rod Stewart and his broadcaster wife Penny Lancaster at their stunning mansion to learn what the festive season means to them for the first episode in a new run of BBC1's My Life at Christmas.

'Going to their home was magic - it absolutely didn't disappoint,' smiles the Countryfile host, 48, as she joins TV Times for an exclusive chat about the three-parter, which also sees her take trips down memory lane with presenters Ade Adepitan and Baroness Floella Benjamin.
