Since their gold-medal win at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo with a flawless routine to Maurice Ravel’s Boléro, ice dancers Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have refined the sport with their innovative choreography.

Now, after announcing their retirement in 2024, the Dancing on Ice judges will reflect on their career in a new ITV1 documentary. Torvill & Dean: The Last Dance charts the behind-the-scenes story of their farewell tour, which ended in their home city of Nottingham.

Here, Jayne, 68, and Chris, 67, tell TV Times how they feel about hanging up their skates...
