Hard on the heels of a record-breaking Team GB performance at the Winter Olympics, our Paralympians take to the snow and ice in Italy, where more than 600 athletes from 50 nations will contest 79 medal events across six events - para alpine and cross-country skiing, biathlon, ice hockey, snowboarding and wheelchair curling.

Four years ago, in Beijing, ParalympicsGB returned home with six medals, including gold for visually impaired alpine skier Neil Simpson in the men’s super-G (see panel, right).
