Jamie Oliver is one of the world’s most famous chefs, with a string of restaurants and bestselling recipe books to his name. But the cookery star admits that growing up with dyslexia made him believe he would never achieve anything in his life.

‘I really struggled to read at primary school. I didn’t read my first book until I was 33,’ he confesses. ‘Growing up, there's always this feeling that you have nothing to offer the world - that feeling of sadness, of feeling thick, stupid, worthless and dumb.’
