Jodie Whittaker and Suranne Jones are con artists taking on one last heist in Spain

PARTNERS in crime

Two of Britain's biggest TV stars team up to carry out an audacious art heist in ITV1's six-part crime caper Frauds. Gentleman Jack’s Suranne Jones, who co-created the series, and Doctor Who's Jodie Whittaker play old friends and con artists Bert and Sam, who join forces when Bert is released from a 10-year stretch in a Spanish prison after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The con woman is determined to go out with a bang, and begs her old pal Sam to help pull off one last job - stealing a priceless Salvador Dalí painting from a Madrid museum.

Sam has tried to tread a different path since the friends parted ways a decade ago, but she finds herself helping Bert assemble a ragtag team of misfits - including fixer Celine (Kate Fleetwood), magician's assistant Jackie (Elizabeth Berrington) and expert forger Bilal (Karan Gill) - to break into the museum to carry out the theft.

We met up with Jones, 47, and Whittaker, 43, to hear more...
