Kara Tointon is caught up in a school-trip Scandal

In Channel 5’s 2022 drama The Teacher, Sheridan Smith starred as an out-of-control teacher whose wild lifestyle left her vulnerable when she was accused of sleeping with a pupil – and she had no memory of what had really happened.

Now, Channel 5 is showing a follow-up, telling a different story with new characters. In this second run, Archie’s Kara Tointon stars as art teacher Dani Oxley, who is unhappily married to Tim (The Tower’s Emmett J. Scanlan), a PE teacher at the same school.
