Jack Whitehall and David Duchovny star in a twisted thriller about a manipulative manny out for revenge

- MICHAEL DARLING

ENEMY WITHIN

See Jack Whitehall as you've never seen him before in new psychological thriller Malice.

The comedian and actor is best known for his stand-up shows, his hilarious travelogues with his father, Michael, and for playing a variety of bumbling comedy characters, from posh student JP in C4's Fresh Meat to quirky teacher Alfie Wickers in BBC's Bad Education.

In this six-part drama, however, Whitehall takes on a shockingly sinister role as 'manny' Adam Healey, who appears to be charming and charismatic, but secretly harbours a bitter and vengeful obsession...

I'd been trying to find parts that were different and were going to challenge me as an actor,' says Whitehall, 37.

'Malice plays on this fear of how little we know about the people that we get to look after our children.

LAP OF LUXURY

Adam is working as a tutor for couple Jules (Christine Adams) and Damien (Raza Jaffrey) and joins them and their kids on the Greek island of Paros where they are holidaying with the wealthy Tanner family at their luxury villa.
