DAZN presenter Ade Oladipo picks his players to watch at the new-look tournament

LIVE FOOTBALL

From Saturday, DAZN & 5

The Club World Cup gets a radical revamp this week when the FIFA competition expands to 32 teams as the United States of America stages the event for the first time in its 25-year history.

The tournament will feature clubs from each of the six confederations - with Europe represented by 12 teams, including reigning world champions Manchester City and Premier League rivals Chelsea - all aiming to win a glitzy new gold-plated trophy that comes complete with moving parts.

With all 63 matches broadcast live for free on streaming platform DAZN, plus 23 games shown live on 5, the action starts in Florida late on Saturday night when David Beckham-owned Inter Miami take on Egyptian champions Al Ahly (kick-off 1am). On Monday, Chelsea begin against Los Angeles FC in Atlanta (8pm), while Manchester City play Moroccan outfit Wydad AC on Wednesday (5pm). We asked DAZN presenter Ade Oladipo to pick his players who could set the tournament alight...

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD (Real Madrid)

'His transfer has been a saga and Madrid even rushed through his contract by paying Liverpool £8.4 million so he can play in this tournament. People will be intrigued to see how he adapts to a new system and coach. Will he be given free rein under Xabi Alonso?'

HARRY KANE (Bayern Munich)

'He doesn't get the recognition he deserves, but Kane is a goal machine and his stats are up there with some of the very best. The shackles are off now that he has won his first trophy with Bayern and he will be looking for more silverware. Simply one of the best strikers I've ever seen.'

LIONEL MESSI (Inter Miami)
