Canadian actor John Candy was a major star in the 1980s and 1990s starring in hit films such as Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Uncle Buck and Home Alone. But the much-loved comedy legend died suddenly aged 43 from a heart attack in 1994 at the height of his career.

Now, in a one-off documentary produced by Welcome to Wrexham's Ryan Reynolds, Candy's former costars Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Macaulay Culkin recall his life and career alongside archive interviews with the beloved star and previously unseen home videos.
