YOU COULD CUT the tension with a scalpel on the Toronto set of Fox's engrossing medical drama Doc. When TV GUIDE MAGAZINE visited last August, star Molly Parker, who's captivated us with her sensitive portrayal of amnesiac doctor Amy Larsen, was deep in a fraught scene filming the seventh episode of the second season (which airs Tuesday, November 4). Huddled anxiously in an office are Amy, her neuropsychiatrist bestie Gina Walker (Amirah Vann) and the fierce new chief of internal medicine, Amy's former professor and mentor Joan Ridley (Felicity Huffman). Their risky mission: Save a domestic violence victim from her deadly abuser.
