Robin Wright could relate to her overprotective-mom role in the new Prime Video series The Girlfriend—but only to a degree. “It’s sort of that spidey-sense instinct that mothers have, that intrinsic fear of them being in danger,” says the actress, 59, who shares her adult children Dylan, 34, and Hopper, 32, with her ex Sean Penn. “Even though this [show] is far-fetched, the foundation of it is very true: That's your baby, and you're mama lion.” With her own cubs grown, the actress, beloved for her iconic roles in films like The Princess Bride and Forrest Gump, now has a new puppy keeping her busy at home. Here she shares more about her quiet life in Hollywood.
