When Pamela Anderson attended the Row's Paris Fashion Week show on Sept. 27, 2023, without any makeup, a beauty icon was reborn. Only this time the former Baywatch bombshell was spreading the message of self-acceptance. Almost two years later, at 57, she's still making beauty news, most recently for debuting a bob with baby bangs at the Met Gala. While the look was a dramatic departure from the big and bouncy waves she's known for, Anderson says it's a reflection of where she's at in her life. "I felt like this was another way to say, 'This is who I am,'" she tells People. "It was a really powerful moment for me to feel so exposed and vulnerable but also so strong." Here the star and newly appointed Biolage global ambassador talks about her first hair campaign, going gray and why she doesn't consider herself an icon. (We'll agree to disagree there, Pamela!)
