Maggie Rogers is cheerfully peeling off her undereye mask patches as she starts a Zoom interview. Pinch-me moments like that have become increasingly common for Rogers since 2016, when her song “Alaska” left Pharrell Williams, who was visiting her NYU music production class, speechless in a viral video.
