FRIENDS FOR 43 YEARS, THE ACTOR AND HIS BRIDE CELEBRATE THEIR NEW BEGINNING AS HUSBAND AND WIFE WITH AN INTIMATE WEDDING
Blair Underwood was just 16 when he and Josie Hart were first introduced through their families, and after 43 years of friendship, only one word could adequately sum up their June 24 wedding, says the actor: “spectacular.”
Opting for a tropical setting for their big day, the couple welcomed 100 guests to the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic. The entire affair, says Hart, was “surreal and magical.” The bride wore a bespoke two-in-one gown with a fitted trumpet silhouette designed by Nneka C. Alexander of Brides by Nona Couture Atelier.
