ENRIQUE IGLESIAS - SONGS OF MY LIFE

Enrique Iglesias has been making music for nearly 30 years, but he still feels a jolt of exhilaration when inspiration strikes. Take his latest single, "Así Es la Vida," which is about living in the moment with a loved one through life's ups and downs. "It might sound a little cheesy when you translate it to English, but in Spanish it's a song that I'm really proud of lyrically," Iglesias, 48, says of the duet with María Becerra. "I feel like it's a song that only at this point in my life I could have written."

Since his mainstream crossover in 1999, the Madrid-born, Miami-bred star-who is the son of singer Julio Iglesias and TV host Isabel Preysler-has become one of the bestselling Latin artists of all time, with more than 70 million records sold. But offstage he's built a quiet life as a family man, raising twins Lucy and Nicholas, 5, and daughter Mary, 3, out of the spotlight in Miami with his longtime partner, former tennis pro Anna Kournikova, 42. "You learn as you go," Iglesias says of his relationship with Kournikova, whom he met on the set of his 2001 "Escape" music video. "If you can get through the bad times, you'll get to the really good times."

Now he's letting the good times roll-and relishing life as a dad. "When I pick them up from school and they're having a bad day or one of them is crying or they're fighting, we say, 'Guys, what's your favorite song?" And then one breaks out into 'I Like It,' and then they all start singing it, and it's so cute," Iglesias says of his kids' favorite song from his repertoire. "I'm enjoying every single day."

Here Iglesias-who is currently on the road for the Trilogy tour with pals Pitbull and Ricky Martin-looks back on iconic hits from his impressive career.
