Mix tracks like an absolute boss with advanced features in djay Pro
djay Pro for Mac isn't just a fun way to perform with music, it actually won an Apple Design Award in 2024. Although it's easy to use it has lots of powerful pro features, starting with its ability to hook into all the major streaming services from Apple Music and Spotify to Tidal, SoundCloud and more.
And if you have a collection of MP3s on your Mac it can work with those too.
At the heart of djay Pro is its ability to automatically analyse any track and determine its tempo then let you sync it to any other track with just one click, crossfading between the two using a classic fader or with a choice of dynamic transitions like echoes or sweeps. There's also a choice of cool effects you can drop into any playback to liven things up.
Mix it up
Since artificial intelligence (AI) is all the rage, djay Pro uses advanced analysis to power its Automix feature which can identify tracks with similar characteristics and compatible intros and outros, then when activated, play back a continuous mix without any input from you, complete with transitions. There's even support for 4K video playback and hardware DJ controllers if you want to take things even further. Here we'll explore how to set up Apple Music and get busy performing and creating seamless mixes in just a few steps, and see how the intelligent AI-powered Automix can make your life even easier.
