Massively improved battery life and 2x tougher front glass lead the way
> From £369 > FROM apple.com/uk > FEATURES 42mm or 46mm sizes, Apple S10 chip, Always-On Retina LTPO3 display, up to 24 hours' battery life (normal use)/38 hours (Low Power Mode), GPS, mobile connectivity options, speaker with audio playback
While the Apple Watch Series 11 looks to all in intents and purposes almost identical to its Series 10 predecessor, under-the-hood changes make it a great upgrade option for anyone with an older Apple Watch. The chief of these is much longer battery life. While previous Apple Watch models barely lasted longer than 18 hours a day, the Series 11 can last up to 24 hours with up to 38 hours possible in Low Power Mode (two more than before). Plus, it now has Ion-X front glass, making it 2x time tougher than the previous version - a welcome improvement that should ensure your Watch's glass stays scratch- and crack-free for longer (something that's not always been the case in the past).
The Apple Watch Series 11 prices start at £369 for an aluminium 42mm GPS model, rising to £469 for a GPS + Cellular version with 5G mobile connectivity onboard (previous models only had LTE). 46mm aluminium prices start at £399 and rise to £499 for 5G-ready GPS + Cellular versions. Both models come in a choice of four colours: Space Grey, Silver, Rose Gold and Jet Black. All models are available with either a silicone or a textile strap as standard, or you can opt for a Stainless Steel strap at additional cost.
