Democracy was restored in Sundarban and the animals were overjoyed. In the past, only Vanraj's son could inherit the throne, even if he was unfit for the position.

Now, even common animals had the opportunity to compete in the elections.
During the first general elections, numerous lions, monkeys, bears, jackals, and foxes became candidates, campaigning for the development of the forest. Gajraj elephant also ran for elections in his area and won by a large margin. His victory was grandly celebrated.
A group of well-wishers gathered to congratulate Gajraj. Upon hearing the news of his victory, Damodar donkey from the nearby village also made his way to the forest to congratulate him. Damodar and Gajraj became friends when Gajraj first visited Damodar's village in search of water, and Damodar guided him to the pond. They would occasionally meet after that.
"Congratulations, Gajraj, my friend!" exclaimed Damodar happily, placing a garland of flowers around Gajraj's neck. Gajraj welcomed him with a warm hug. With great respect, Gajraj introduced Damodar to the other elephants and animals present, ensuring everyone felt welcome.
Afterward, they engaged in conversations.
During this time, Gajraj turned to Damodar and said, "Friend, you have many years of experience as a politician and an administrator. Now that I have become an MP, do advice for me?" you have any essential "What advice can I give? I am just doing my job, but perhaps I can share a story that could be helpful," replied Damodar.
"Tell us, brother, and speak into the microphone so that everyone can listen to the story," Gajraj happily requested.
