ANAY AND HIS MISCHIEVOUS RABBITS
Champak
|August Second 2025
For his last birthday, Anay received a very special and unique gift from his father—not just one, but three cute rabbits! Anay was overjoyed.
He lovingly named them Vaffy, Pewpew and Dash. The three of them became his best friends. Anay was so attached to them that he spent more than half his time with them.
The rabbits understood everything Anay said. Without a word from him, they could sense what he would be feeling, and they expressed themselves through their playful actions. Among the three, Vaffy was a little sensible, Pewpew was the most mischievous, and Dash was a curious who liked to get to the bottom of everything like a detective.
All day, they would hop around the house, but they always stayed out of Mummy’s sight. When Papa returned from the office, their mischief would reach its peak. And if Mummy and Papa went out somewhere, Anay never felt lonely—after all, he had his three dearest friends!
One day, Mummy was preparing for the arrival of some guests who would arrive in the evening. She had already made carrot halwa, but had to go to the market to get a few other things. Anay was doing his homework at the time.
“Beta, I’m going to the market. Don’t go outside and take care of the three rabbits. I'll be back in an hour,” Mummy had told him, before leaving.
Anay nodded in agreement. As soon as Mummy left, Vaffy, Pewpew and Dash began causing a racket. Pewpew tried climbing on the sofa and even attempted to swing from the curtains.
“Oh, you little mischief-makers, stop jumping around! Guests are coming in the evening. Everything needs to stay neat and clean,” Anay scolded them.
All three wiggled their noses as if to say, “Yes, got it, brother!” and went to sit quietly on the sofa. Seeing their innocent antics, Anay smiled.
