Promoting Last Breath, his new film about a real-life diving accident that took place off the coast of Scotland in 2012, Woody Harrelson described the nail-biting thriller in his signature laid-back style.

“This really happened… It’s an extremely exciting edge-of-the-seat story… Turned out pretty great,” he drawled during a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He also dropped anecdotes about a “freaky” UFO sighting with his family in 1974 and the time he accidentally sat on a keyboard during a Grateful Dead concert while high on mushrooms.
